The jewel in the crown of the Lore global group of hotels, Pulitzer is the brainchild of the world-renowned creative director and architect, Jacu Strauss. The interiors blend Dutch Golden Age glamour with calm, materials-first finishings. It feels instinctively Dutch, embracing a sense of quiet whimsy – a wonderful canvass for the best hospitality in the city.
Alexander Baxter Studio has been working with Pulitzer since 2023 to document life in the hotel, producing images to meet needs from sales to recruitment.
Our most recent sojourn to the canal-side haven of Pulitzer saw us create launch lifestyle images for the hotel's latest expansion – The Beauty House. Offering a delightful collection of treatments (many of which are 'firsts' for Amsterdam), The Beauty House has quickly established itself in the city as an indispensable place.
Alexander Baxter Studio is a small but diverse creative practice based in Scotland and working globally. We’re particularly interested in the hospitality, travel, and creative sectors. Alexander works with a small team of in-house and network creatives on beautiful projects at all scales. Together, we create brand strategies, visual identities, websites, printed matter, photography, illustration, and films.
