A–hof represents an exciting model for rural living, combining rewilding the land with calming, sensitive interiors. The small estate currently consists of an old bakehouse and barn, each developed by Julia van Beuningen, an emerging talent in Dutch interiors. We were delighted to create a simple brand for the estate, alongside photography.
Harking back to the original name of the estate, 'Appel', a drew a simple mark consisting of apples tangled leisurely in their leaves. We paired this is a tried-and-true typeface and a clean grid to create a quiet, understated brand that lets the location do the talking.
Alexander Baxter Studio is a small but diverse creative practice based in Scotland and working globally. We’re particularly interested in the hospitality, travel, and creative sectors. Alexander works with a small team of in-house and network creatives on beautiful projects at all scales. Together, we create brand strategies, visual identities, websites, printed matter, photography, illustration, and films.
